Renergy (ren-er-gy) is a renewable energy company committed to reducing overall carbon emissions through the responsible and sustainable use of bio energy.
Founded in 2009 by third generation farmers, Renergy (formerly Ringler Energy) was created with a specific goal in mind: to turn a liability (waste) into a resource (energy) while impacting the environment in a positive way.
Renergy provides organic waste management solutions, both regionally and nationally, to companies looking to achieve zero waste goals.
Utilizing a process known as Anaerobic Digestion (AD), residual food, industrial, municipal and agricultural waste is repurposed to create renewable electricity and renewable natural gas (RNG), soil nutrients and reclaimed water.
Renergy currently operates two bioenergy facilities located in Cardington, Ohio and Fairborn, Ohio and will double their energy production capacity in 2016. They are actively developing projects nationwide and also have offices in Phoenix, AZ and Palo Alto, CA.
